The Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology (DMLT) is a two-year program offered by the Maharashtra State Board of Vocational Education (MSBVE) that can be pursued after completing 10+2 with a minimum aggregate of 40% marks. This course provides a comprehensive understanding of medical laboratories and prepares individuals to work as Lab Technologists/Technicians.

• - The DMLT program falls under the field of Paramedical Science and focuses on the diagnosis and treatment of various illnesses.
• - It involves the analysis of human fluids such as pericardial fluid, peritoneal fluid, urine, blood samples, and other specimens.
• - This course serves as an introductory level program aimed at providing knowledge in the inspection, testing, and identification of different diseases.
• - Over the course of two years, students gain in-depth knowledge of subjects such as Biochemistry, Pathology, Blood Bank, and Microbiology.
• - In addition, students receive training on the usage of laboratory equipment and technologies.
• - Practical experience is offered through hands-on training with CT scan machines, X-ray machines, MRI machines, and other relevant equipment.
• - The program equips students with the skills needed to perform a wide range of tests required for disease diagnosis, addressing the demand for skilled lab professionals.
